Clarification Letters |
|

|
OCB issues clarification letters in order to communicate recent interpretations of contract language, to provide
guidance for statewide consistency in contract administration matters, and to provide guidance when contract
language may conflict with provisions of the Revised Code or other law. Clarification letters may become obsolete
and are rescinded by operation of new contract language, or they may be superseded by other more recent
clarification letters. A clarification letter may also be suspended pending further review. The following list includes all
clarification letters that are considered to be currently in effect ("Active") and some, but not all, that have been rescinded.
Unless listed below, a previously issued clarification letter is considered to have been rescinded.
An OCB Labor Relations Specialist should be contacted if there are any questions or comments regarding any
clarification letter.
