District 1199
District 1199, the Health Care and Social Service Union, Service Employees International Union (SEIU), Change to Win,
has one contract with the State.
District 1199 represents approximately 4,200 state employees in bargaining units 11 and 12. These units
include most of the medical and other professional classifications, including social workers, nurses, chaplains, dentists,
dietitians, optometrists, physicians, psychologists and parole officers. All of the covered classifications are listed in the contract.

Fraternal Order of Police
The Fraternal Order of Police, Ohio Labor Council, Inc., has one contract with the State.
The FOP represents approximately 580 state employees in bargaining unit 2, consisting of police officers, park
officers, forest officers and other law enforcement classifications in various state agencies. All of the covered job
classifications are listed in the contract.

Ohio Civil Service Employees Association
The Ohio Civil Service Employees Association, OCSEA, Local 11 American Federation of State, County and Municipal
Employees (AFSCME), AFL-CIO, has one contract with the State of Ohio. OCSEA also has separate contracts with other
elected officials of the state and with local governments.
OCSEA represents approximately 35,000 state employees in bargaining units 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13 and 14. These units
include over 1,000 job classifications, including account clerks, administrative assistants, computer operators, correction
officers, customer service assistants, electricians, equipment operators, food service workers, highway maintenance
workers, hospital aides, industrial safety inspectors, insurance examiners, maintenance repair workers, stationary
engineers, and therapeutic program workers. All of the covered job classifications are listed in the contract.

Ohio State Troopers Association
The Ohio State Troopers Association has two contracts with the State.
This unit represents approximately 1,400 state employees in bargaining unit 1, consisting of State Highway Patrol troopers,
radio dispatchers and other staff. All of the covered job classifications are listed in the contract.

State Council of Professional Educators
The State Council of Professional Educators, Ohio Education Association, NEA, has one contract with the State of Ohio.
This Association represents approximately 660 state employees in bargaining unit 10. The unit primarily consists of
teachers and librarians. All of the covered job classifications are listed in the contract.
