Taft encourages state employees and other Ohioans to the give the gift of life

Governor Bob Taft designated January as Volunteer Blood Donor Month. A resolution signed by the Governor in October 2000 is intended to help ensure that Ohio plays a significant role in the nationwide awareness and blood drive campaign. The resolution encourages citizens to donate blood and commends donors for giving the gift of life.
