Legislative
Simulation Class Photo Gallery
The
Legislative Simulation is a two-day mock General Assembly,
wherein participants assume roles of senators and representatives.
Each "member" introduces and supports (or doesn't
support) legislation, confer in committees and participate
in floor votes. The simulation was conducted in the Senate
Chambers of the Ohio State House to enhance a very powerful
and authentic learning experience.
Professor
John Yankey from Case Western Reserve prepares to begin
the simulation process with cohort #1 members.

Let
the process begin! Cohort #1 members are experiencing the
day in the life of a legislator, a lobbyist and a representative.

Cohort
#1 members in the Senate Chambers awaiting the final scores.
What bills passed and what bills failed?
After
two days of hard work the final scores are in.
After
an exhausting two-day simulation process, Cohort #1 members
are feeling a bit more enlightened while proudly displaying
the Resolution they received . The Resolution from Senator
Finan permitted them to use the Senate Chambers for their
authentic learning experience.
