The
Ohio Certified Public Manager Program has its first graduates!
Twenty individuals received their CPM certifications at
the ceremony conducted in the State Capitol Building on
Thursday, October 12, 2000. Certificates were presented
to the graduates by Scott Johnson, Director of the Ohio
Department of Administrative Services. (Johnson is also
Chair of the Ohio CPM Program Advisory Board.) Presiding
over the program was Charles Wheeler, Deputy Director, Human
Resources Division, Department of Administrative Services.
Also present at the ceremony were agency officials, university
representatives, and family and friends of the new "CPMers".

Suhadolnik, from the Lottery Commission, addresses the graduates
expressing gratitude for all who contributed to the development
of the OCPM Program.
Larry
Totten, Treasurer, American Academy of Certified Public
Managers presented the charter for the Ohio Certified Public
Manager Society to the Society president, Nancy Suhadolnik.
