Contract Management negotiates and manages information technology contracts for hardware, software and maintenance at an enterprise level. State agencies and members of the Cooperative Purchasing Program can use these contracts, which offer consistent terms and conditions as well as provide optimal pricing.
Contract Management is charged with:
Providing information that enables more effective vendor negotiations
Developing a variety of IT contract templates/boilerplates that use terms and conditions that are favorable to the state
Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of contract management processes, including expiration, renewal, and compliance audit
Providing ready access to a repository of in-force technology contracts
Agencies, vendors and the public can access existing information technology contracts on the State Procurement Web site, located at http://www.procure.ohio.gov/proc/index.asp.
