HRD/OCB Policy

 
The HRD / OCB Policy Office performs a variety of functions, some of which include: 

  • Providing technical assistance and support to various state agencies regarding the application of employment laws and regulations;
  • Tracking legislation and regulatory changes impacting state employment practices;
  • Providing training and updates to state agency HR professionals on employment law issues;
  • Working on legislation and regulations;
  • Reviewing, evaluating, and making recommendations to the Director of DAS regarding exempt parity requests from state agencies;
  • Providing internal support to the Human Resources Division.
