The State of Ohio provides quality, affordable and competitive health care benefits to permanent full-time and permanent part-time employees. The State of Ohio is required to offer medical coverage only, per the ACA, to all part-time temporary employees who average at least 30 hours of service per week over a twelve-month measurement period (Standard Measurement Period). The Benefits Administration Services Office has taken great care in selecting reputable health, dental and vision plan providers to ensure you get the best services available. 

Benefit services include: Behavioral Health, COBRA, Dental, Disability, Flexible Spending Account, Health and Wellness (referred to as Take Charge! Live Well!), Life Insurance Basic Insurance and Supplemental Insurance, Long Term Care, Medical, Prescription Drug, Vision and Workers' Compensation.
