Talent Acquisition

This group provides technical support, training, job aids, and specialized consultation to department Human Resources (HR) professionals on the effective use of the Ohio Hiring Management System (OHMS) for recruitment, selection, and applicant tracking.  The group manages and communicates implementation of system enhancements, manages system access for authorized department users, and maintains the OHMS website (http://careers.ohio.gov).

The group also consults with HR departments to identify recruitment strategies and solutions for positions that are difficult to attract or retain qualified candidates and coordinates State of Ohio representation and participation at targeted college and community job fairs.
