Accepting awards on behalf of their agencies at the MBE/EDGE Business Expo held Oct. 27 in Columbus are (from left) Darcy Turner-Olinger, Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, winner of the Most MBE Vendor Usage award for cabinet agencies; Michael Dorrian and Maria Lynch, Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, third place among cabinet agencies for the Top Honors award; Corey Schaal, Ohio Respiratory Care Board, Most Improved by percentage over previous fiscal year and second-place for the Top Honors award among non-cabinet agencies, boards and commissions; Amanda Ferguson, Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board, third-place among non-cabinet entities for the Top Honors award; Rae Ann Estep, Ohio Office of Budget and Management, first place among cabinet agencies for the Top Honors award; Melissa Huffman, Ohio Department of Education, Most MBE Vendor Usage award and Most Improved by Dollars award among non-cabinet entities; and John Yoho, Ohio Department of Administrative Services, Most Improved by Dollars among cabinet agencies.
